Tel selected as GPAC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week

Karinna Tel of Dordt University is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women’s Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Tel, a sophomore from Puyallup, Washington, totaled eight points for the Defenders in wins over Dakota Wesleyan and Nebraska Wesleyan. Tel scored the Defenders first two goals and assisted on her team’s third and fourth goals in the 5-3 victory against DWU. The next night, Tel scored the Defenders final goal in her team’s 3-1 road win against Nebraska Wesleyan. Tel leads the Defenders with 20 points (8 goals, 4 assists).
