For the third time in the last four weeks, Northwestern’s Stella Winterfeld is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Attacker-of-the-Week. Winterfeld, a senior, from Sioux Center, Iowa, led the Raiders to a 3-0 week with two wins over top-25 opponents. She averaged 5.11 kills per set, with 20 against Viterbo and 25 against Dakota Wesleyan. She also picked up four service aces and seven blocks on the week.
Nyah Potthoff of Northwestern College is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Setter-of-the-Week. Potthoff, a sophomore from Gretna, Nebraska, averaged 11.90 assists per set in a 3-0 week for the Red Raiders. She had 42 assists in the four-set win over No. 24 Viterbo and dished out 39 assists in a sweep of No. 12 Dakota Wesleyan. Potthoff also served four aces, totaled 25 digs, and blocked four attempts.
