Sheldon, Iowa — Northwest Iowa Community College (NCC) and community leaders celebrated the new residence hall at NCC on Tuesday with a ribbon cutting.
NCC’s Coordinator of Residence Life And Student Activities, Nicholas Wyatt, explained that they hope the newly minted Sioux Hall will be more than just a residence hall.
Sheldon Chamber & Development Director, Tania Herrera Gonzales offered her congratulations to NCC.
The weather at the event was great and there was a good turnout.
NCC President, Dr. John Hartog says the new hall will be able to house over 200 students on campus.
Dr. Hartog says there are some special features in the community room.
The ribbon cutting took place as part of the Days of Thunder homecoming celebration going on this week at NCC.
