A plane crash Monday near Larchwood sent two people to the hospital. According to a report from the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, they received a report of a single-engine plane crash south of the Larchwood Airport runway around 1:20 Monday afternoon.
One of survivors was airlifted to Sanford Sioux Falls with injuries listed as “serious but not life-threating.” The Lyon County Ambulance took the other survivor to Sanford Sioux Falls with “minor” injuries.
Names of the injured have not been released. The crash remains under investigation.
