A prayer service for 87 year old Joann “Jo” Van Maanen, of Rock Valley, will be held on Tuesday at 6:00pm at the Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley with Chris Van Beek officiating. Visitation with the family will follow the service. A Celebration of Life service is being planned for later this summer. In the meanwhile, as a testament to Jo’s love of the great outdoors, the family requests memorials be directed to the Rock Valley Parks Fund, where her legacy will live on. The Porter Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
