KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Northwestern football team kept its No. 2 spot in the NAIA top 25 rating.
Keiser (Fla.) was ranked in the top spot, receiving 15 of the 17 first-place votes. Northwestern, in second, received the remaining two votes. Grand View (Iowa) bumps up to third after winning their 51st straight regular season game. Montana Western leaps up five spots to now sit in fourth followed by Marian (Ind.) who slips one rank.
Northwestern has been in the top 25 in 89 consecutive ratings dating back to August 7, 2017, which ranks fifth in the NAIA.
The Dordt Defender football team moved up two spots in the ratings. The Defenders are no. 10 this week. Dordt took 222 points in the voting after a bye week, and a 38-20 win over Midland in the season opener for the Defenders on September 7. Dordt resumes the 2024 campaign against Hastings on Saturday, September 21.
