Northwestern men’s basketball forward Alex Van Kalsbeek has been named the Hauff Mid-America Sports GPAC Offensive Player-of-the-Week. The junior from MOC-Floyd Valley averaged 27 points and 12 rebounds in the Raiders to two wins at “The Show” in Tennessee last week. In a top-10 matchup against No. 9 Cumberlands(KY) on Friday, he scored 26 points to go along with eight boards and four blocks. In Saturday’s win over Bluefield(VA), Van Kalsbeek dropped in 28 points and 16 rebounds.
