Northwestern College Announces Rotert Resignation

Northwestern College announced the resignation of women’s basketball head coach Kristin Rotert on Tuesday.

“I’m thankful for the commitment Kristin made to our historic women’s basketball program,” Vice President for Athletics Tony Hoops stated. “I wish her all the best in her career journey ahead.”

Rotert became Northwestern’s eighth head coach in May 2021, posting an overall record of 80-44 in four seasons. During her tenure, Rotert coached two NAIA All-American selections and 15 All-GPAC performers.

Earlier this year, Northwestern became the sixth NAIA program to reach 1,000 total wins in school history.

A national search for the program’s next head coach has already begun.
