KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Northwestern (Iowa) remains at No. 1 in the final edition of the 2023 NAIA Women’s Volleyball Coaches’ Top 25 Rating, while Indiana Wesleyan followed with 11-of-21 of the first-place votes. SAGU (Texas) made the most significant jump up in the poll as the team moved five spots from No. 24 to No. 19. Northwestern secured 580 team points and 10 first-place votes, while No. 2-ranked Indiana Wesleyan (30-0) had 11 first-place votes and 579 team points. No. 3 through No. 5 hold steady in Eastern Oregon (28-1), Concordia (Neb.) (22-2), and Viterbo (Wis.) (28-4). The Red Raiders are 2-0 this season against teams currently sitting in the top-5 in the fifth edition of the poll with wins over Concordia (Neb.) and Viterbo (Wis.).
The GPAC continues to have five teams inside the top-25, and one team receiving votes. Concordia and Northwestern continue to pace the league inside the top-5. The Jamestown Jimmies crack the top-10 at No. 9. Midland moves up three spots and is now No. 15, while the College of Saint Mary dropped eight spots and checks in at No. 16. The Morningside Mustangs continue to receive votes, this time with just six votes.
