Kaltenberger Selected as NAIA All-American

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – After winning the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) tournament and advancing to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) First Round, Northwestern received its second All-American selection in program history. Tim Kaltenberger was named a Third Team NAIA All-American, the first Raider to receive the honor since 2021.

Kaltenberger (Sr., Cologne, Germany) won the GPAC scoring title this season with his 14 regular-season goals, scoring 15 total. He went on an offensive tear through the latter part of the season, scoring 11 goals in the final eight regular season matches. In addition to his scoring output, Kaltenberger dished out an assist for a points total of 31.

“Tim put together an incredible season this fall. He scored so many important goals for us,” said head coach Dan Swier. “Additionally, he was a calm presence in all situations and displayed great tactical leadership on the field. Being recognized as an All-American is the cherry on top. I am happy for him and proud of him. It has been an honor to coach him for the past four years.”

Kaltenberger picks up his second individual award this season after being named the GPAC Co-Offensive Player of the Year.
