Linebacker Parker Fryar of Northwestern College is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Fryar, a senior from Waukee, Iowa, was a force defensively, totaling 12 tackles with one interception and a tackle for loss. He has reached double figures in tackles in back-to-back weeks and currently sits tied for second in the conference in tackles per game (9.7). The Red Raiders travel to take on Doane on September 28. Kick off will be at 1 pm.
