Sioux City, Iowa) – Dordt University totaled 114 points in the preseason coaches’ poll and is picked to win the 2024-25 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Women’s Basketball Championship. The Defenders tallied 6 of the possible 12 first-place votes. Concordia was picked second with 106 points and three first-place votes. Dakota Wesleyan at third, Northwestern in fourth and Briar Cliff in fifth also all received one first-place vote.
Dordt was the NAIA National Champion in 2023-24 andn also won the GPAC regular season and post season tournament title, going 21-1 in conference play. Six teams from the GPAC, Dakota Wesleyan, Concordia, Dordt, Jamestown, Briar Cliff and Northwestern all qualified for the NAIA Women’s Basketball Championship tournament.
