Dillon Carlson of Northwestern College is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men’s basketball player-of-the-week. Carlson, a senior from Ankeny, Iowa, hit a career high in scoring twice this week, first with 29 points in a win at Dakota Wesleyan before scoring 35 on Saturday against Mount Marty. He hit a career-high eight threes on Saturday and scored 20 first-half points. He also averaged 4.5 rebounds on the week.
“Dillon has been playing really well,” said head coach Kris Korver. “His teammates do a great job getting him open and getting him the ball. It is fun to watch.”
Carlson has now earned GPAC Player of the Week honors for the second time this season after receiving recognition in the week of January 17.
