Highway 75 will be closed between 16th St. S. (stoplight near Walmart area) and 20th St S. (near Pizza Hut) for paving work on Monday and Tuesday.
Through traffic can use the Frontage Road just west of the highway to get past the closed area.
The intersections at 13th St. S, 16th St. S, and 20th St. S will be open to east-west traffic.
Trucks – continue to use the truck route – 20th St. SE to 13th Ave. SE.
This closure is to allow a paving crew to complete some connections in that area of the Highway.
PLEASE DRIVE WITH EXTRA CAUTION DURING THESE CLOSURES!
The next construction update meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 10, at 11 a.m. at the Sioux Center Public Library’s meeting room. City staff and engineers will share a project update, and members of the public will have an opportunity to ask questions.
These meetings are planned to continue on the second Wednesday each month at 11 a.m. at the library throughout the construction season. Note the new start time!
