Anne Wilson and Matthew West are the first two artists announced for RiseFest 2027, scheduled for June 11–12 at the RiseFest grounds in Sheldon.
RISE Ministries Founder and CEO Rob Roozeboom announced the returning performers during an appearance on KIWA’s Talk of the Town on Thursday, October 1st.
“We’re excited. They’ve been with us before, but they’re coming back. We’re both announcing Matthew West and Anne Wilson,” Roozeboom said.
Roozeboom said his organization’s relationship with West goes back at least 14 years. A recent memory on his phone reminded him of West leading devotions during Christian Festival Association meetings more than a decade ago.
“I know Matthew’s been with us quite a few times, love having him and excited. But to have him and Anne teaming up together, it’s pretty cool,” Roozeboom said.
The artist announcement coincides with the launch of RiseFest’s Fall Kick-Off Sale. Tickets for the 2027 festival are $59 during the sale, which runs through October 10th.
Camping reservations also opened October 1st. Roozeboom encouraged people interested in staying at the festival grounds to reserve a spot early, saying camping sells out quickly each year.
RiseFest 2027 will take place Friday and Saturday, June 11–12, at the festival grounds on Country Club Road North on Sheldon’s northeast side.
