Authorities with the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Hawarden man Sunday night. The arrest of 22-year-old Kameron Frerichs stemmed from a report of an assault that occurred earlier that same date at a Hawarden residence.
During the investigation, deputies discovered that around 2:00 a.m., Frerichs assaulted a female victim which caused bodily injury and prevented her from calling 9-1-1.
Frerichs was taken to the Sioux County Jail where he was charged with domestic assault and obstruction of emergency communication.
