Milk futures, cash dairy mostly higher

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange ended in mostly positive territory Thursday following a lower dollar and a butter-buying spree on the cash market.

May Class III milk down a penny at $18.34. June 36 cents higher at $18.90. July up 23 cents at $19.06. August 27 cents higher at $19.17. September through November contracts two to 15 cents higher.

Dry whey up $0.0150 at $0.3750.

Blocks up $0.02 at $1.7875.
