High input prices concerning with low commodity prices, farmer says

Southwest Iowa farmer Jeff Jorgenson says the supply of inputs has improved over the last year, but some prices remain elevated.

“I think there’s been some things that have happened in the past couple of years with tariffs and other issues around the globe that have caused us to sit where we’re at. I think we jumped to a little too much of a plateau and now it’s just taking too long to tail off.”

He tells Brownfield some farmers have had to make tough decisions.
