Cash dairy prices up Thursday

Cash dairy prices were higher except for butter Thursday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. 

Dry whey was up $0.0025 at $0.3850.  Seven sales were recorded, ranging from $0.3850 to $0.39. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were up $0.0275 at $1.98.  Three sales were recorded, ranging from $1.98 to $1.9875. 

Cheese barrels were up $0.0125 at $1.9125.  Three sales were recorded, ranging from $1.9125 to $1.9150.  

Butter was down $0.0250 at $2.9975.  Twelve sales were recorded, ranging from $2.9975 to $3.0150. 

Nonfat dry milk was up $0.0075 at $1.1375.  Four sales were recorded, ranging from $1.1325 to $1.1375. 

Milk futures were higher Wednesday.
