CME cash dairy, futures mostly higher Friday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were mostly higher Friday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. 

Dry whey was unchanged at $0.4150.  No sales were recorded. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were up $0.0425 at $1.9425.  Five sales were recorded, ranging from $1.9025 to $1.9425. 

Cheese barrels were up $0.0050 at $2.1250.  Five sales were recorded, ranging from $2.1175 to $2.1250. 

Butter was up $0.0150 at $3.07.  No sales were recorded. 

Nonfat dry milk was unchanged at $1.1650.  No sales were recorded. 

Class III milk futures closed higher Friday. 

June Class III milk was up $0.33 at $21.45.  July was up $0.11 at $20.61.  August was up $0.12 at $20.21.
