Welcome to Rog’s Corner. We are glad you are here.
Rog’s corner is a program that talks frankly about suicide. This program is dedicated to the memory of Roger (Rog) Broek who died by suicide in July of 2023. Rog helped hundreds of people with their hurts, habits, hangups, and addiction issues. Unbeknownst to his family and friends, Rog was dealing with suicidal thoughts, and on a fateful summer day he succumbed to suicide. This program sets out to help anyone that is dealing with suicidal thoughts, family and friends who are not sure how to help someone wrestling with thoughts of suicide, and those who have lost loved ones to suicide.
If you are having immediate thoughts of suicide, please pick up your phone and call 988 or 855-581-8111 or text 855-895-8398 and a trusted and caring individual would love to talk with you.
Rog’s corner airs on 93.9 FM KSOU every Tuesday at approximately 8:45 a.m. after Swap Shop. We hope you will join us in our conversations of hope, help, understanding, and healing.
This program is brought to you with a grant from Sioux Rivers Regional Mental Health and Disabilities Services and a partnership with Creative Living Center and Sioux County Radio.
