KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Northwestern College volleyball team (17-2, 8-2 GPAC) holds a top-5 spot in the fourth regular season NAIA Coaches’ Poll.
The Red Raiders dropped one spot to third poll in the NAIA, the 12th-straight poll ranked inside the top-10. Northwestern sees a two-way tie with Eastern Oregon for No. 3 in the nation, both teams sitting at 551 points in the poll.
The Bulldogs of Concordia University (Neb.) hold onto the No. 1 ranking in the most recent poll with a 17-0 record. Also, undefeated Indiana Wesleyan (22-0) moves into the No. 2 slot, while the Red Raiders and Eastern Oregon sit tied for No. 3 in the NAIA. Viterbo (Wis.) slides up to make an appearance inside the top-5 at No. 5 with a 19-3 record.
The GPAC continues to have five teams inside the top-25, and one team receiving votes. As mentioned, Concordia and Northwestern continue to pace the league inside the top-5. College of Saint Mary makes it three teams inside the top-10 as they check in at No. 9. Jamestown continues to climb back up the rankings, moving from No. 14 to No. 12 in this edition. Midland drops to No. 17 in the nation with a 9-9 mark. Dakota Wesleyan remains to be the team receiving votes, tallying 26.
