Raiders Hold at No. 2 in NAIA Rating

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Following a 41-7 Week 1 win at Hastings, the Northwestern football team remained at the No. 2 spot in the NAIA top 25 rating.

Keiser (Fla.) was ranked in the top spot, receiving 14 of the 16 first-place votes. Northwestern, in second, received the remaining two votes. College of Idaho moves into third place, Grand View (Iowa) bumps up to fourth, and Indiana Wesleyan joins the Top Five.

Northwestern has been in the top 25 in 88 consecutive ratings dating back to August 7, 2017, which ranks fifth in the NAIA.

Dordt moved up a spot to number 12 following a season opening win at Midland on Saturday. Morningside fell four spots to number 14 after opening the season with a loss to Benedictine. The Mustangs did bounce back with a convincing win over Concordia on Saturday.
