Northwestern’s Noah Parmelee Earns GPAC First Team Honors

Northwestern College senior Noah Parmelee has been named to the 2026 GPAC Men’s Wrestling All-Conference First Team, as announced Wednesday by the Great Plains Athletic Conference.

Parmelee earned First Team honors at 141 pounds, becoming one of 12 wrestlers selected across all weight classes.

The Sioux City native and Sergeant Bluff-Luton graduate caps his Northwestern career with the top-team recognition. The senior psychology major was a NAIA National Qualifier during the 2024–25 season and went 19-9 overall. He recorded two top-four finishes, eight bonus-point victories, and led the Red Raiders with 53 takedowns. He also ranked second on the team in match points with 225 and earned GPAC Wrestler of the Week honors.

Over his career, Parmelee consistently ranked among Northwestern’s statistical leaders, finishing third on the team in wins during the 2022–23 season and collecting five pins in 2023–24.

Conference-wide honors were also announced. Doane’s Tyson Beauperthuy was named GPAC Wrestler-of-the-Year, Morningside’s Mekhi Bovee earned Freshman-of-the-Year honors, and Concordia head coach Josh Watts was selected as Coach-of-the-Year.
