Northwestern Announces New Football Pregame Tailgate Experience

ORANGE CITY, Iowa – The Raider Athletics Association (RAA) Tailgate, sponsored by Woudstra Meats, is set to enhance the game day experience at Northwestern College this football season. This family-friendly event will be held in the Colenbrander Plaza area, beginning two hours and 15 minutes before each Red Raider home football game during the fall season.

The tailgate aims to create an exciting pre-game atmosphere and will feature a variety of activities such as the new Raider Football Walk, autograph sessions with Red Raider student-athletes, yard games, Raider Athletic band and cheer/dance performances, and children’s activities including bounce houses. Additionally, attendees can enjoy a local favorite Woudstra brat and grilled food provided by Woudstra Meats. This event is designed to build excitement and elevate the game day atmosphere for fans of all ages.

Tickets for the RAA Tailgate are available to the public, priced at $25 per family for a single game or $100 for all five home games this season. Tickets can be purchased now at nwcraiders.com/tickets. Each ticket grants admission to the holder and all immediate household family members, making it an attractive option for families looking to enjoy a day of football festivities. Tickets to the tailgate do not provide admission into the football game. The first tailgate will begin at 3:45 pm on Saturday, September 12 featuring a new tradition, the Raider Football Walk. Come support the Raider football team as they walk together from their locker room across campus through Colenbrander Plaza into the stadium
