Jalen Langsy of Northwestern College is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men’s basketball offensive player-of-the-week. It is the third consecutive week that Langsy has claimed GPAC weekly honors. Langsy, a sophomore from Shakopee, Minnesota, had a career night in Northwestern’s 105-86 win over Dordt, making a program-record 12 threes and scoring 48 points. On the week, Langsy averaged 32.5 points on 59 percent shooting from the field and 60 percent from three. He is currently leading the NAIA in points per game (28.2) and is fifth in the country in three-point percentage (51.2%), and he is two made threes away from setting the sophomore record for single-season threes.
