Hoops Named to NAIA-ADA Board

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Northwestern College Vice President for Athletics Tony Hoops has been appointed as the GPAC representative on the NAIA Athletic Directors Association (NAIA-ADA) board of directors. Hoops previously served on the same board, representing the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) while at Bethel College (Kan.).

“I’m excited to represent the GPAC conference on this influential national board,” Hoops stated. “The NAIA-ADA has grown tremendously over the past few years and has been influential within my professional growth. I look forward to working with some of the best athletic directors across the country to enhance the NAIA.”

Hoops succeeds Jon Hart, who was the GPAC’s representative during his time as the Athletic Director at Dakota Wesleyan University.

“We look forward to the ingenuity, experience, and expertise level that Tony will bring to the leadership of the Athletic Director’s Association,” NAIA-ADA President Jason Horn commented. “He is a proven leader, and well respected in the industry. I cannot wait to get him involved with the work that we do to grow opportunities within the organization.”
