Duncan wins NAIA award

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Following his five-touchdown performance at Morningside, Northwestern junior quarterback Colby Duncan has been named the NAIA Offensive Player of the Week. He is the first Raider football player since Clayton Bosma 2024 to receive an NAIA weekly honor.

“Colby was outstanding all evening,” head coach Matt McCarty said. “Whenever a play needed to be made, he found a way to get the job done. His leadership was exceptional.”

Duncan totaled 427 yards and five touchdowns in Northwestern’s 43-35 win at No. 7 Morningside. He completed 19 passes at a 67.9% mark for 239 yards and a score while also rushing for 188 yards and finding the end zone four times on the ground.

The Raiders will play their home opener on Saturday night, hosting Mount Marty at 6:00 p.m.
