Maria Zylstra of Dordt University is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women’s Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Zylstra, a junior, from Sheboygan, Wisconsin, turned in a nine-point week in leading the Defenders to a 1-0-1 record in conference play. She netted a career-high four goals in the Defenders 8-0 win against Waldorf. Zylstra followed that performance by assisting on the Defenders lone goal in a 1-1 draw against College of Saint Mary.
