Two Sheldon men arrested following Orange City Theft investigation

Two men from Sheldon were arrested on Friday after an investigation into a theft in Orange City. 38 year old Andrew James Houtsma, and 46 year old Jeffrey Allen Burdette Jr. were arranted by Orange City police. The investigation began after a business owner reported to the Orange City Police Department that he believed two of his employees had stolen property belonging to a custome. During the investigation, officers determined that Houtsma, and Burdette Jr. had stolen a Rolex watch belonging to a customer while working at their place of employment.

Houtsma, and Burdette Jr. were each charged with Theft-1st degree. Both individuals were booked into the Sioux County jail.
