A 15-year-old boy from Rock Valley was injured in a rollover crash early Saturday morning east of Rock Valley.
According to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at 2:38 a.m. on 320th Street, about three miles east of Rock Valley.
Authorities say the teen was driving a 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 westbound on 320th Street when he lost control of the pickup. The vehicle entered the north ditch and rolled over.
The driver was transported by the Rock Valley Ambulance to Hegg Health Center for treatment of injuries. Officials have not released the extent of those injuries.
The pickup sustained an estimated $15,000 in damage.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Rock Valley Ambulance, Rock Valley Fire Department, Rock Valley Police Department, and Sioux Center Police Department.
