Northwest Iowa Community College (NCC) invites the community to its Sioux Center Regional Center and Career Academy Open House on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at 1382 4th Ave. NE, Sioux Center, the former AEA building. This event welcomes students, parents, educators, and homeschool families to explore hands-on career training pathways.
Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the new facilities, meet Brenda Sandbulte, the Career Academy & Exploration Coordinator, and learn how high school students can earn free college credits while preparing for in-demand careers. The event promises hands-on exploration, insights into industry-grade equipment, and information on earning industry-recognized credentials before graduation.
Programs offered include certifications in education, engineering design, information technology, welding, and healthcare. These courses provide real-world experience and help students save on college tuition while preparing for successful careers.
