A Sioux Center man was injured in a motorcycle crash Saturday evening southwest of Rock Valley.
Crash Details
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened around 6:36 p.m. on May 2nd on 360th Street, about six miles southwest of Rock Valley.
Authorities say 31-year-old Destin Carroll of Sioux Center was driving a 2004 Harley-Davidson motorcycle eastbound when he lost control. The motorcycle left the roadway and entered the north ditch.
Injuries and Damage
Carroll sustained minor injuries. He was transported by private vehicle to Sioux Center Health for treatment.
The motorcycle sustained about $7,000 in damage. A nearby sign was also struck, with damage estimated at $300.
Citation Issued
Deputies cited Carroll for failure to maintain control.
The sheriff’s office was assisted at the scene by Hudson Fire and Hudson Ambulance.
