A Minnesota man has been arrested on a felony warrant in Lyon County for allegedly sexually exploiting a minor.
According to a criminal complaint filed by the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, 31-year-old Brandon Church of Faribault, Minnesota, is accused of sexual exploitation of a minor and multiple counts of possessing depictions of minors in sex acts. He was arrested on Saturday.
Investigators say Church allegedly possessed and distributed numerous images and videos of minors engaged in sexual conduct over the past several years.
He is charged with Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, a Class D felony carrying up to five years in prison, along with eleven misdemeanor counts of possessing depictions of a minor in a sex act.
Church has a preliminary hearing on December 12. He was booked into the Lyon County Jail and released the next day after posting $27,000 bond.
