A new business opened its doors in Sioux Center for the first time Tuesday.
The Members Cut Premium Butchery held its grand opening. Founded by Farmers COOP Society, Member’s Cut was born as a way to support local farmers. Jen Sawyer, the director of marketing and commincations for F-C-S says Members Cut brings locally grown and raised beef and pork, directly to the community, supporting F-C-S members, and showcasing the quality of F-C-S members’ livestock. Customers will enjoy premium cuts of meat, while supporting the local ag producers and contributing to a sustainable food supply chain
She says the staff at Members Cut will be able to teach the customers about the products, and how best to prepare them.
The new store is open Monday through Friday, from 10am to 7pm, and Saturday’s from 10am to 5pm. Members Cut is located on highway 75 on the north end of Sioux Center, just south of Scooters.
