A traffic stop in Boyden last week led to the arrest of a man from Cincinnati, Ohio. The Sioux County Sheriff’s office reports that 20 year old Kelvin Sales-Garcia was arrested Thursday afternoon.
Sales-Garcia was stopped on Highway 18 in Boyden. According to the Sheriff’s office, the deputy discovered illegal drugs in Sales-Garcia’s possession.
He was taken to the Sioux County Jail, and was charged with possession of a controlled substance, speeding, operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license, and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
