(KIWA) — A Luverne, Minnesota, man faces seven counts of second-degree sexual abuse after the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office accused him of sexually abusing a 13-year-old at a home in Rock Rapids.
In a criminal complaint filed in Lyon County District Court, the sheriff’s office alleges 36-year-old Joseph Oliveira committed a sex act against the child on at least seven occasions in August. Oliveira was arrested in September on felony sexual exploitation charges in a separate Rock Rapids case.
