The Hawarden Community Foundation has provided nearly $1.5 million in grants since the inception of the endowment in 1988. The Hawarden Community Foundation now serves as a vehicle to receive gifts from individuals, families, businesses, and organizations to establish endowment funds that will provide grant awards for years to come. The grants are awarded to projects that strengthen local organizations, enhance public spaces, and improve services for residents.
