Authorities are investigating a crash west of Sioux Center that left a Rock Valley man hospitalized.
What Happened
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called Friday morning at 7:47 to a crash scene about two miles west of Sioux Center, near 410th Street and Grant Avenue.
When deputies arrived, no driver was at the scene.
Crash Details
Investigators later determined the crash had occurred earlier, around 7:00 p.m. Thursday.
Authorities say Milton Cuellar, 31, of Rock Valley, was driving a 2006 Ford F-150 west on 410th Street when he suffered a seizure. The pickup entered the north ditch and came to rest in a creek.
Injuries and Damage
Cuellar was taken to Sioux Center Health with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials estimate the pickup sustained about $8,000 in damage and was considered a total loss.
The crash remains under investigation.
