A Colorado man has been arrested in Sibley on felony drug charges.
A criminal complaint filed in Osceola County by the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement accuses 37-year-old Fabian Flores Hermosillo, of Holyoke, Colorado, of possessing a controlled substance with intent to deliver. He was arrested on a warrant on Tuesday.
According to the complaint, an undercover investigation in October led to Flores Hermosillo allegedly selling approximately 2.9 ounces of methamphetamine for $1,500 to agents with the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement.
Flores Hermosillo is charged with manufacture, delivery, or possession of methamphetamine, a Class B felony. If convicted, he could face up to 25 years in prison.
He is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on January 2nd, 2026. At last report, Flores Hermosillo remained in the Osceola County Jail in Sibley on a $25,000 cash-only bond.
