Ava Truesdell has been crowned the 2026 Tulip Festival Queen and will preside over the 85th annual Orange City Tulip Festival, scheduled for May 14–16, 2026.
Truesdell, a senior at MOC–Floyd Valley, is the daughter of Elizabeth Heeg and Tom Truesdell. Her Tulip Court will join her:
Autumn Anderson, daughter of Pam and Kent Anderson
Mady Stanislav, daughter of Ashley and Kendall Stanislav
Keaton Van Kekerix, daughter of Jasey and Leroy Van Kekerix
Kallie Zwart, daughter of Shawn and Brad Zwart
The selection took place on Monday, following the annual Queen’s Tea with court members and three pageant judges. That evening’s crowning ceremony included introductions, question segments, and presentations before Truesdell was named Queen. The event was streamed live on the Tulip Festival website.
