More unseasonable warmth ahead for the Heartland; a rather active pattern

Looking ahead, the 6- to 10-day outlook calls for the likelihood of near- or above-normal temperatures in most areas east of the Rockies, while colder-than-normal conditions will cover northern New England and the West.  Meanwhile, near- or below-normal precipitation across much of the central U.S. should contrast with wetter-than-normal weather in the East and West.

Cash dairy prices mostly higher entering holiday break

Cash dairy prices were mostly higher Wednesday heading into the Christmas holiday at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.  Dry whey was up $0.01 at $0.7250.  No sales were recorded.  Forty-pound cheese blocks were up $0.0025 at
