TREE/DEBRIS INFORMATION
Hull

•City employees will continue to focus first on clearing our City streets and City property.
•Residents are encouraged to bring their branches and tree debris to the City tree dump which is located on the west side of town by the cemetery. However, if that is not an option for you, the City employees will pick up branches and tree debris within your right-of-way next to the street. You may begin setting tree debris at your curb already today. City employees will pick up debris throughout the week with one FINAL round of the town being done Friday morning, August 1st. The branches you place at your curb need to be cut down to a reasonable length so that our City employees can move them (must be 10’ or less or they will not be picked up).
Orange City
•City crews will be focusing on clearing streets and addressing safety concerns on Tuesday, July 29. City crews will also be cleaning debris from City property like parks and the cemetery.
•Residents may place branches and tree debris in the right of way next to the street for later pick-up. The City crews will begin to remove these branches on Thursday, July 31. Please keep branches to a reasonable length no greater than 6 foot in length. This will likely be a week long process.
•Residents are encouraged to bring branches and tree debris to the City tree and compost area on the west side of Orange City.
•Due to the large volume of tree debris, the City will also allow tree branches and limbs to be brought to 3 alternative sites. 1) Kinderspeeland parking lot 2) City lot behind GCC on Industrial Road 3) The west end of 18th street SW
Sioux Center
Crews are collecting large pieces of cut up trees curbside to help with storm recovery. However, please do NOT pile smaller branches by the street. If possible, take care of smaller branches yourself and bring them to the tree disposal sites (listed below). Smaller branches can clog the storm drainage system if they are left near or on the street.
If able, please take your downed branches etc. to one of the following places:
•Parking lot at Heritage Village (701 2nd Ave. SW)
•Gravel area behind Tower Fields at the end of 5th St. SW
•Parking lot east of Sioux Center Middle School/west of the baseball diamond
•Tree and yard waste site behind B&B Salvage (298 7th St. NW)
If you are not able to transport your branches, there will be a curbside collection. Limbs must be cut and stacked by the curb at least four feet from garbage and recycling bins.
•For other debris in Sioux Center that doesn’t fit in your garbage can, contact Brommer Sanitation
