Northwestern College junior Stella Winterfeld has been named the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Attacker of the Week for her performance in matches played October 27th through November 2nd.
The Sioux Center native powered the Red Raiders to a pair of sweeps last week, helping the team clinch the GPAC regular season title. Winterfeld averaged 5.67 kills per set, recording 18 and 16 kills in Northwestern’s two matches. In Saturday’s win at Morningside, she added eight digs and six blocks to round out another dominant effort.
It’s the fourth time this season and the third time in the last four weeks that Winterfeld has earned a GPAC weekly honor.
