Jacob Vis of Dordt University is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men’s basketball player-of-the-week. Vis, a senior from Rock Valley, Iowa, scored his 1,000th career point while scoring a career high 35 points against Jamestown on Saturday. In three games on the week, he averaged 27.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and had four assists. He shot 86.5 percent from the field, including 66.7 percent from beyond the arc.
