Van Kalsbeek is GPAC men’s basketball offensive and defensive player of the week



Jesse Van Kalsbeek of Northwestern College is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men’s basketball offensive, and defensive player-of-the-week. Van Kalsbeek, a freshman from Orange City, led the Raiders on both ends of the floor. He averaged 31.5 points in two games this week, posting a career-high 34 points in Saturday’s win over Waldorf. He also added eight total steals, 17 rebounds, averaging 8.5 rebounds per game, 10 total assists, and a blocked shot.
