Stan van den Beld of Northwestern College is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men’s Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Van den Beld, a junior, from Voorhout, Netherlands, scored two goals and had an assist in Northwestern’s 2-0 week. The junior had a goal and an assist in the Raiders’ 6-0 win at Mount Marty, and scored the match’s only goal in a 1-0 win over Jamestown. He currently is in second place in the GPAC in total goals (8) and is tied for second in points (17).
