Northwestern’s Stella Winterfeld is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Attacker-of-the-Week. Winterfeld, a senior, from Sioux Center, Iowa, led the Raiders to a 3-0 weekend against top-15 opponents, totaling 49 kills at 4.45 per set. She hit at a .270 efficiency, including a .371 mark in Thursday’s sweep of Oklahoma Wesleyan. In addition to her offensive totals, Winterfeld added 25 digs and two blocks.
Nyah Potthoff of Northwestern College is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Setter-of-the-Week. Potthoff, a sophomore from Gretna, Nebraska, dished out a career-high 46 assists in Northwestern’s reverse sweep of St. Thomas on Friday and had 30-plus assists in each of the Raiders’ sweeps on Thursday and Saturday. She averaged 10.09 assists per set and had four service aces on the weekend.
