Sievers named GPAC women’s basketball offensive player of the week



Macy Sievers of Dordt University is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women’s basketball offensive player-of-the-week. Sievers, a junior from Storm Lake, Iowa, scored career high 28 points in a win against Morningside and was an assist short of a triple-double and also had five steals. Followed that performance with 24 points, 7 rebounds and five assists in a road, overtime loss to #16 Dakota Wesleyan. Converted 64 percent of her three-point shots this week while converting 9-14 shots.
