GREENWOOD, Ind. – Northwestern golf student-athletes Emily Hulshof and Jackson Laven have been recognized with College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors.
Hulshof, a senior exercise science major from Ireton posted a team-best average of 84.3 this season, ending her career with the second-best average in program history (84.8). She notched three top-10 finishes and two top-five finishes this year. It is her second consecutive year receiving CSC Academic All-District honors.
Laven, a senior elementary education major from Okoboji received First Team All-GPAC honors this season after finishing third at the GPAC Championships. He posted a 73.0 average in 28 rounds, tallying five top-10 finishes and three top-five finishes. Laven closed his career with the best average in program history (74.0) and was a GCAA/PING All-Region selection this year. It is the second consecutive CSC Academic All-District selection for Laven, who was also a First Team CSC Academic All-America honoree in 2024.
Hulshof and Laven will advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, with the release set for early July.
